Sindy explores one of the most fascinating ideas in modern science and philosophy: the simulation hypothesis. If reality were simulated, wouldn’t we notice signs—like lower resolution worlds in the past, the way technology and graphics have evolved? In this short thought experiment, Sindy questions why reality has always appeared fully detailed and what that might mean for the simulation theory. Curious, open-minded, and quietly unsettling.

Hey everyone, I’m Sindy.
Some people believe we might be living in a simulation.
And I get why—it’s a fascinating idea. But I keep wondering… if that were true, wouldn’t there be signs?
Think about technology. Video games and graphics used to be blocky and pixelated. Now everything is ultra-realistic, high-resolution, almost lifelike.
If reality itself were a simulation, wouldn’t it evolve the same way?
Wouldn’t older generations say things like, “When I was young, trees looked blurry, clouds were low-detail, and you had to squint just to tell what you were seeing?”.
But no one says that. Reality has always been… fully rendered.
So if we are in a simulation, either it’s been running at max resolution from the very beginning…
or the clues aren’t as obvious as we expect.
I would love to hear everyone’s thoughts on this topic.
