I don’t usually write about stuff like this, but this was one of those moments that sticks with you.
A few friends and I went down to a local record store for a small meet and greet with Sindy, who’s easily been one of my favorite goth musicians for a while now. It wasn’t some massive event—just a simple setup in the store, a signing table, and a line of fans who clearly cared about her music. That honestly made it even better.
I’ve been listening to Sindy for quite a while. Her music hits that space between dark, emotional, and honest without trying too hard. As someone who also makes music, I’ve taken a lot of inspiration from the way she blends atmosphere with melody and doesn’t feel the need to explain herself or fit into a box.
When it was my turn, she signed my vinyl, we took a quick photo, and that was it—no awkward rush, no forced hype. Just a genuine moment with an artist whose work has meant something to me.
Moments like this remind you why physical music and small events still matter. It’s not just about owning a record—it’s about the connection behind it. Definitely a day I won’t forget.
