Sindy Accepted the Challenge

Of course, we couldn’t ask anyone else to take the SIN Soda Challenge without having Goth Girl Sindy go first.

Sindy selected her current favorite flavor, Cherry SIN, and paired it with three very different contenders: her shiny black school shoe, a trusty black combat boot, and a well-worn black-and-white sneaker.

Then she got to work. Cherry SIN was poured. Straws were deployed. Questionable decisions were made in the name of flavor.

And the results were surprisingly competitive.

The combat boot delivered a strong, musky character that Sindy described as absolutely exquisite. The sneaker transformed Cherry SIN into what she affectionately called “the ultimate sweaty sports drink.”

But there could only be one winner.

And the Winner Is… The Shiny School Shoe

In the end, Sindy’s shiny black school shoe took the crown. For her, it delivered exactly the right balance between the sweetness of Cherry SIN and the distinctive character contributed by the shoe itself.

As Sindy explained:

“The flavor this shoe imparted on the soda was by far my favorite. Just the right amount of salt from the sweat of a long day of classes, with that delicious Cherry SIN underneath. Absolutely delicious.”

Apparently, some flavor combinations are simply meant to be. But Sindy’s favorite doesn’t have to be yours. That’s the whole point.

After sampling all three shoes, she finished her tasting by squeezing out a colorful stocking for one final palate-cleansing sip. Her review? “Delicious!”
