Possible Remains of SIN Soda Founder Joseph Shue Found After 45 Years

Leaked photograph showing FBI investigators conducting a ground-penetrating radar search on the overgrown property surrounding the former SIN Soda facility in Riverside, Ohio, as part of the continuing investigation into company founder Joseph Shue. Four investigators wearing dark FBI shirts and khaki pants are spread across a grassy, wooded area marked with small orange survey flags, while one operates ground-penetrating radar equipment to search for underground anomalies. The aging industrial SIN Soda building and storage structures are visible beyond the trees and vegetation in the background. Leaked photograph showing the excavation of weathered, headless human skeletal remains discovered in a shallow grave on the grounds of the former SIN Soda facility in Riverside, Ohio, during the investigation into company founder Joseph Shue. The partially exposed skeleton lies embedded in dark soil, with ribs, vertebrae, pelvis, arms, and long leg bones visible while other fragments remain buried or scattered within the excavation. No skull is present with the remains, raising the possibility that the body could be connected to Shue's preserved head previously recovered from Room R-17. Forensic excavation tools, including brushes, trowels, a measuring scale, evidence marker number 3, and a clear evidence bag, are arranged around the edge of the grave. Investigators have not yet confirmed the identity of the remains, pending forensic and DNA analysis. A subtle GothGirlSindy.com watermark appears in the lower-right corner.

The investigation into the SIN Soda Cold Room conspiracy may have uncovered one final piece of the mystery surrounding company founder Joseph Shue.

Investigators searching the grounds of the former SIN Soda facility in Riverside, Ohio, reportedly used ground-penetrating radar to identify a subsurface anomaly in an overgrown area of the property. A subsequent excavation uncovered what appear to be human skeletal remains buried beneath the site.

Most notably, no skull was recovered with the body.

The discovery comes after human remains previously recovered from the facility’s mysterious Room R-17 were positively identified as belonging to Joseph Shue, who died in 1981. Investigators believe Shue’s head was deliberately preserved using experimental refrigeration technology while the location of the rest of his remains remained unknown for more than four decades.

The photographs above, reportedly taken during the search and excavation, have not been released by investigators and appear to have been captured privately at the scene.

Authorities have not confirmed that the newly discovered remains belong to Shue. DNA recovered from the bones will reportedly be compared with the existing genetic profile obtained from Shue’s previously identified remains.

If the DNA is a match, investigators may finally be able to answer one of the last unanswered questions in the bizarre 45-year SIN Soda conspiracy:

What happened to the rest of Joseph Shue?
